The 3rd place Rough Riders barely got by
the 4th place Fore Fathers on Friday to take the Cup 3-2.
Two defenseive breakdowns in the third period led to a pair of Rough Rider goals and the win.
Some notables, Steve Hardy played more defense in this game than he's played in 5 seasons combined. Todd Nichol had a playoff goal.
Fuji stuffed Rick Armand on a breakaway in the 2nd period, thought that would turn the tide, and almost did.
After the win Pat Deskin rejoined the team.
"I always believed in us, even after I quit the team," said Deskin.
