Chickens need shootout to win the missing Cup
The Chickens got outshot badly, but got a
great performance from goalie Rollie Graham through all 4 periods
and the shootout to steal it from the surging Sheep.
After the Chickens took a 3-1 lead in the third, the Sheep rallied with two goals from Chewie, the last one coming with just 2:22 to play, and OT would be played.
Rollie made 4 more saves in OT, and then the shootout came.
Rick Armand was the only shooter to score in the shootout, and the Chickens would win the first Title in 20 years with no Coffee Cup to raise.
