Andy Long scored in the first for the Kayaks, then Derek Osbahr tied it on the powerplay for the Canoes with 9 minutes to play in the third. In OT, Jack Gavin was forced to take down a streaking Rick Armand, and on the ensuing penalty, George Anderson scored the game winner.
